Ishiara tests are a series of standardised coloured dots that appear in seemingly randomised colours and sizes. Within the pattern of dots there is a number or shape which is clearly visible to those without a vision defect. They were initially developed by Shinobu Ishihara, a professor at the University of Tokyo in 1917. I love the similarity that these tests have with the style of Kusama and wanted to try combining the two styles.
I first started off by making my own ishihara test using the number 17.
